Hi, I'm Dr. Lara Plecher, ND.

Based in the beautiful Sequim, Washington area, I help patients uncover the root causes of their chronic health concerns. At Natural Health Clinic, I use advanced diagnostic testing and individualized, holistic treatment plans to support patients dealing with fatigue, inflammation, hormone imbalances, environmental exposures, and chronic illness.

My passion for this work began early in life. I grew up in pristine Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and later worked on Johnston Atoll, where chemical weapons were being destroyed. I arrived healthy at age 26—and left the island with my health seriously compromised. After going from doctor to doctor without finding answers, one visit to a naturopath changed everything. Through my training and care at the Bastyr Clinic for Natural Health, I discovered how profoundly toxins and environmental exposures can affect long-term health. This experience shaped my career and continues to guide how I support patients today.

In our work together, we’ll explore how environmental factors, toxins, nutrition, sleep, movement, hydration, and lifestyle patterns may be influencing your symptoms. I’ll help you understand the “why” behind what you’re experiencing and provide targeted testing, detoxification support, and naturopathic therapies tailored to your needs. My goal is to give you clarity, direction, and a path toward restored health—naturally.

Education
I earned my Naturopathic Doctor degree from Bastyr University and my Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I'm licensed in Washington State and founded the Natural Health Clinic originally in Wenatchee, WA. I’ve trained with leaders in environmental and functional medicine, including Dr. Walter Crinnion, ND; Dr. Ben Lynch, ND; and Dr. Jill Crista, ND. My advanced training includes MTHFR and epigenetics, hormone balancing, and mold illness certification. I stay actively engaged in continuing education to bring you the highest level of care.
